Meeting Dates

Meetings are usually scheduled for the third or fourth Sunday of the month, starting at 2:00 PM.  Most meetings will take place in the headquarters of the New York Microscopical Society in Clifton, New Jersey.

Some meetings may take place at the American Museum Of Natural History.  These are usually midweek events and are held at 7:30 PM.

Meetings are free and open to everyone.  Exact times and locations of each meeting will be posted in the Newsletter and on the NYMS website.

 All courses and workshops take place at NYMS in Clifton, N.J.  To apply for a workshop or course, contact the Education Chair, Don O’Leary (see Board of Managers list for contact information).

 To apply for membership, please download the membership application.

Weekend workshops are for members only.  Anyone not a member and wishing to attend a workshop must first pay dues by joining the Society and then pay the workshop registration fee.  To avoid overcrowding, pre-registration for workshops is strongly recommended and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  If there is enough interest, more weekend workshops may be added.  Please contact the Program Chair (see Board of Managers list for contact information)  if you wish to suggest a topic.

 
If you wish to visit NYMS Headquarters in Clifton, N.J., please contact Mel Pollinger, or Don O’Leary (see Board of Managers list for contact information).  The Clifton site is easily accessible by automobile or Train.
